Union Volunteer Emergency Squad (UVES) engages in Community Health and Safety Initiatives. As the designated 9-1-1 Emergency Medical Service provider for the Town of Union, we are committed to improving the health and safety of our communities residents and visitors. 

To meet our commitment, UVES has five Nationally Certified Child Passenger Seat Technicians (CPST) who conduct free installation and inspection clinics for parents and caregivers. 

CPSTs are trained extensively in child passenger restraint systems inspection and installation, as well as providing education to parents and caregivers in proper use. CPSTs put their training to work at child passenger restraint fitting and inspection stations and events hosted throughout the community with the goal of eliminating injuries to children sustained in motor vehicle accidents.
